The fourth instalment in the Europa Universalis series. The aim of the game is to control a state during the Modern Age with the goal of creating an empire that will come to dominate the world. It surpasses Europa Universalis III in depth and historical accuracy, and gives the player greater freedom of movement. It is probably the best political simulator of Modernity.
