This work, painted by Antonio Carnicero at the end of the 18th century, shows one of the popular Spanish types belonging to the world of street costumbrismo that followed the fashion of the end of the century. In this case, the work shows a bullfighter, alluding to his occupational status through his clothing and the cape he carries over his shoulder.
