Published between 1726 and 1739, during the reign of Philip V, the Diccionario de Autoridades was the first dictionary published by the Real Academia Española. With a total of 69,410 entries, its mission was to establish the spelling and lexicographical criteria of the Castilian language. The website offers a search engine where you can enter words and see the different meanings and meanings they had during the Modern Age.
