El juego lleva al jugador a asumir el liderazgo de un clan, con la misi\u00f3n de conquistar la naci\u00f3n y proclamarse shog\u00fan. Se basa en un mapa de Jap\u00f3n, en el que aspectos como la fuerza militar, la religi\u00f3n, la diplomacia, el espionaje y la econom\u00eda tienen influencia sobre las decisiones del jugador.
