La inteligencia artificial del juego est\u00e1 basada en El arte de la guerra de Sun Tzu. El juego presenta mejoras considerables respecto al primero de la serie. En el modo campa\u00f1a, el jugador debe controlar el desarrollo de los asentamientos, la producci\u00f3n militar, el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico, el avance tecnol\u00f3gico y las relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas.
