Ejemplo de edificio renacentista en Espa\u00f1a construido a iniciativa de Carlos V tras su boda en Sevilla con Isabel de Portugal en 1526. El proyecto original se debe a Pedro Machuca. La fachada cuadrada exterior se estructura en torno a dos pisos que superponen pilastras d\u00f3rico-toscanas y j\u00f3nicas, separadas por un entablamento intermedio. En el nivel inferior se observa un muro almohadillo con vanos circulares y cuadrangulares y en el superior el muro no es almohadillo y se insertan balcones adintelados o con front\u00f3n triangular.
