Se recoge, municipio por municipio, el n\u00famero de pecheros y la cantidad que pagaban, siendo una de las fuentes demogr\u00e1ficas m\u00e1s utilizadas, aunque se debe de complementar con otras. Este impuesto afectaba al estamento llano y estaban excluidos del mismo tanto la nobleza como la Iglesia.
