Durante los siglos XVII y XVIII se produce una gran ca\u00edda en el n\u00famero de matr\u00edculas universitarias en Salamanca, pasando de casi 5.000 registros en 1614-1615 a menos de 1500 en 1784-1785. La disminuci\u00f3n durante el siglo XVIII es debido, en parte, a las repercusiones de la Guerra de Sucesi\u00f3n, que marcar\u00e1 la primera mitad de siglo de forma significativa.
\nEn cuanto a la participaci\u00f3n proporcional, los colegios seculares van en aumento durante todo el siglo XVII hasta llegar a un 21,3% del total en el a\u00f1o 1714-1715. Desde este momento las medidas reformistas de Carlos III har\u00e1n descender estas cifras hasta el 9% de 1784-1785. Lo contrario sucede entonces con los mate\u00edstas, que descienden progresivamente en el seiscientos para volver a recuperarse a finales del XVIII, alcanzando una cuota mayoritaria del 66,8% del total de las matr\u00edculas salmantinas. Finalmente, las matr\u00edculas en los colegiales regulares son las que m\u00e1s crecer\u00e1n en todo el siglo XVII, pasando del 8,1% en 1614-1615 al 30,2% a finales de este siglo, tendencia que continuar\u00e1 hasta el \u00faltimo tercio del siglo XVIII, bajando hasta el 24% en 1784-1785.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
