El maraved\u00ed fue una moneda espa\u00f1ola utilizada entre los siglos XII y XIX cuya acu\u00f1aci\u00f3n comenz\u00f3 durante el reinado de Alfonso VI tras la conquista de Toledo en 1085. Durante el reinado de los Reyes Cat\u00f3licos aparecieron otro tipo de monedas como los ducados. Una de ellas, \u201cla blanca\u201d ten\u00eda un valor de medio maraved\u00ed. Esta moneda de poco valor y de dimensiones reducidas ha trascendido a nuestros d\u00edas a trav\u00e9s de la expresi\u00f3n \u201cestar sin blanca\u201d. La moneda de dos maraved\u00edes de los Reyes Cat\u00f3licos cuenta con inscripciones en el anverso y en el reverso. En el anverso se puede leer la alusi\u00f3n directa a los monarcas que acu\u00f1aron la moneda en lat\u00edn \u201cFERNANDVS \u00b7 ET \u00b7 ELISA\u201d (Fernando e Isabel). Aparece a su vez un castillo con tres torres. En el reverso se lee \u201cREX \u00b7 ET \u00b7 REGINA \u00b7 KAS\u201d, haciendo referencia as\u00ed a su condici\u00f3n de reyes<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
