La Real Compa\u00f1\u00eda de San Fernando fue fundada en Sevilla en 1748 con el fin de promover el Comercio en las Indias. Cada acci\u00f3n ten\u00eda un valor de 250 pesos fuertes, de a quince reales de vell\u00f3n. La rica decoraci\u00f3n grabada que contiene la acci\u00f3n lo convierte en un t\u00edtulo de gran valor est\u00e9tico. Destacan entre sus innumerables grabados im\u00e1genes de la Virgen Mar\u00eda, San Fernando, San Isidoro y distintos edificios emblem\u00e1ticos de la ciudad de Sevilla, como la Casa de Indias y la Torre del Oro sobre el Guadalquivir.
