Con frecuencia, la historiograf\u00eda se refiere a los oficios como aquellos manuales (sastres, pintores, carpinteros\u2026) olvidando o denostando los conocimientos musicales pese a la importancia que dieron sobre su aprendizaje autores como Plat\u00f3n o Arist\u00f3teles.
