En este sentido, cabe destacar c\u00f3mo los oficios manuales, y m\u00e1s concretamente los relacionados con el sector textil, estuvieron estrechamente relacionados con las mujeres durante la Edad Media y Moderna. En el caso del Madrid moderno, a las mujeres se les deneg\u00f3 el acceso a gremios para desempe\u00f1ar las actividades que tradicionalmente realizaron en \u00e9pocas anteriores, quedando supeditadas al maestro cabeza de familia.
