El maestro sevillano muestra al buf\u00f3n vestido como el h\u00e9roe que le dio nombre a trav\u00e9s de distintos atributos repartidos por el suelo, as\u00ed como de la escena naval presentada en la lejan\u00eda. Sin embargo, pese a que ciertas corrientes historiogr\u00e1ficas hayan atribuido a la realizaci\u00f3n de estos retratos un cierto car\u00e1cter peyorativo, al que se debe sumar a los enanos que sirvieron en la Corte, estos eran criados reales que percib\u00edan un estipendio por su servicio.
