La vestimenta negra en la corte espa\u00f1ola fue la que predomin\u00f3 desde la segunda mitad del siglo XVI, introducida en primer t\u00e9rmino por Carlos V y puesta de moda por Felipe II, hasta finales del siglo XVII. Coincidi\u00f3 as\u00ed con el predominio espa\u00f1ol a nivel mundial donde se debe remarcar la consideraci\u00f3n identitaria de la monarqu\u00eda hisp\u00e1nica a trav\u00e9s de la propia indumentaria. As\u00ed, a la llegada del conde a Madrid como embajador de Cristina de Suecia para anunciar su abdicaci\u00f3n en favor de su primo Carlos X, volvi\u00f3 a su tierra natal ataviado a la espa\u00f1ola. El traje se compone de un jub\u00f3n como prenda superior, calzas a modo de pantalones y ferreruelo (lo que podr\u00edamos entender como una capa) adem\u00e1s de su caracter\u00edstica golilla.
