Su construcci\u00f3n permiti\u00f3 mantener el agua potable impidiendo la contaminaci\u00f3n; para ello se utilizaron paredes de mamposter\u00eda de piedra y cal con una altura aproximada de 2 metros. De esta manera, el interior se encontraba aislado de agentes externos. La boca frontal, por donde se accede al recurso acu\u00edfero, se inserta en un arco de medio punto con un cerramiento retranqueado. Tambi\u00e9n existieron aljibes con otros materiales y topolog\u00edas constructivas m\u00e1s elaboradas, con techumbre de teja a cuatro aguas sobre una estructura cuadrada, con puerta y orificios de ventilaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Arquitectura popular.
