Esta composici\u00f3n fue ciertamente popular en su momento, lo que ocasion\u00f3 varias copias del original que se encuentra en la Alte Piankothek de Munich. Las pinturas con m\u00fasicos tocando se disfrutaron en la Holanda del siglo XVII. Estas obras fueron puramente decorativas, pero en ocasiones albergan momentos de emoci\u00f3n que ocasionaban oportunidades para flirtear. Quiz\u00e1, por elentorno musical, representa la armon\u00eda del amor.
