{"id":16054,"date":"2022-04-12T20:19:31","date_gmt":"2022-04-12T18:19:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/historylab.es\/vestido-de-maja\/"},"modified":"2022-05-18T09:40:22","modified_gmt":"2022-05-18T07:40:22","slug":"vestido-de-maja","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/historylab.es\/es\/vestido-de-maja\/","title":{"rendered":"Vestido de maja"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La indumentaria espa\u00f1ola de finales del XVIII muestra una transformaci\u00f3n derivada de la Revoluci\u00f3n Frances cuya principal caracter\u00edstica es la liberaci\u00f3n del cuerpo mediante la eliminaci\u00f3n ede estructuras que constre\u00f1\u00edan el cuerpo facilitando la movilidad. Este vestido de maja tuvo su mayor popularidad en el Madrid del siglo XVIII. El movimiento surgen en barrios populares como en Maravillas, Lavapi\u00e9s o el Rastro. Este fen\u00f3meno surge como contramovimiento a los petimetres y currutacos, integrantes de la peque\u00f1a noblea que reproduc\u00edan las costumbres y vestimentas de la aristocracia a trav\u00e9s del uso de pelucas, sombreros de tres picos, lazos y encajes. El car\u00e1cter popular de este vestido proyecta una imagen relacionada con las actividades l\u00fadicas y la clase de oficios desarrollados, vinculados generalmente a los c\u00edrculos gremiales y al comercio; por lo tanto, supon\u00eda recalcar una identidad y la enncarnaci\u00f3n de una serie de valores. La figura de las majas, dedicadas a labores desde la costura o la regencia de tabernas, cuenta con una predisposici\u00f3n rom\u00e1ntica alimentada por cierto componente nacionalista para reafirmar una identidad frente a las influencias francesas, lo que provoca que los c\u00edruclos aristocr\u00e1ticos lo adopten para s\u00ed como el caso de la Duquesa de Alba (retratada por Goya) o la Condesa de Chinch\u00f3n.
