{"id":16079,"date":"2022-04-12T20:19:46","date_gmt":"2022-04-12T18:19:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/historylab.es\/la-adivina-de-buenaventura\/"},"modified":"2022-05-18T09:25:23","modified_gmt":"2022-05-18T07:25:23","slug":"la-adivina-de-buenaventura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/historylab.es\/es\/la-adivina-de-buenaventura\/","title":{"rendered":"La adivina de buenaventura"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jan Cossiers (1600-1671), pintor de origen flamenco, realiz\u00f3 varias versiones con el mismo asunto de la adivina gitana que dice la buenaventura. La situaci\u00f3n que se contempla se remonta a las dos pinturas sobre el mismo tema que realizara Caravaggio (1571-1610) a finales del siglo XVI, pero con un esquema m\u00e1s complejo en el que participan varios personajes. En esta imagen, un muchacho de aspecto l\u00e1nguido y confiado se ha dejado convencer para que una gitana con dos ni\u00f1os a cuestas lea su mano, hecho que utiliza una segunda para robarle. Las exuberantes e incluso lujosas vestimentas de las gitanas propias de Nicolas Regnier (1591-1667) o Georges de la Tour (1593-1652) se han disipado aqu\u00ed dejando lugar a ropas ra\u00eddas en sus extremos, lo que les confiere un aspecto desharrapado que se explica por la realidad demogr\u00e1fica y la pobreza que azotaba a buena parte de Europa con los coletazos de la Guerra de los Treinta A\u00f1os (1618-1648), pero que tambi\u00e9n encuentra su raz\u00f3n de ser por la puesta en marcha de las duras legislaciones anti gitanas, que los tipificaron como seres marginales e incluso criminales. A pesar de ello, semejantes circunstancias no impiden que las mujeres lleven en la obra de Cossiers uno de los elementos m\u00e1s llamativos y singulares de su indumentaria, el bern, ese sombrero de forma circular y armaz\u00f3n de mimbre que se confeccionaba entrelazando telas de diversos colores. La escena se completa con otras dos figuras, a saber, una muchacha con su mano dispuesta en gesto de silencio y un gitano de grandes mostachos ataviado con un sombrero de ala ancha hacia arriba y espada en mano.
