En las gradas se encuentra el orbe terr\u00e1queo coronado y sostenido por un \u00e1guila, representaci\u00f3n aleg\u00f3rica a la Monarqu\u00eda Espa\u00f1ola. En la parte superior aparece una inscripci\u00f3n latina que, en su traducci\u00f3n, reza \u00absentido de poder\u00bb. En la parte inferior se muestra otra inscripcci\u00f3n que se traduce como \u00abNo conoce ocasiones\u00bb.
