El por qu\u00e9 se llev\u00f3 a cabo se explica en la hoja de papel situada en el primer plano, en el centro de la composici\u00f3n. Se traduce de la siguiente manera: \u00abPara la salud del muchacho de Naassau, en una mano un estoque, y en la otra un vaso levantado alegremente\u00bb.
