Esculpido por Domingo Beltr\u00e1n, jesuita vitoriano y representante del romanismo. Fue realizado para la Iglesia jesu\u00edtica de San Esteban (Murcia), que en el siglo XIX se convirti\u00f3 en Casa de Misericordia, de ah\u00ed su actual vocaci\u00f3n.
