El valido de Felipe III aparece como un estadista y guerrero en todo su apogeo, dispuesto a defender la reputaci\u00f3n de la Monarqu\u00eda Hisp\u00e1nica. Es un retrato clave para entender la preeminencia de la aristocracia cortesana durante la etapa de los Austrias menores.
