A lo largo del siglo XVI, la Monarqu\u00eda hisp\u00e1nica tuvo una notable representaci\u00f3n durante las veinticinco sesiones del Concilio de Trento (1545-1563), estando particularmente liderado por jesu\u00edtas desde 1551. Entre los objetivos de este concilio ecum\u00e9nico, cabe ser destacado el inter\u00e9s por definir la doctrina cat\u00f3lica condenando la herej\u00eda de la Reforma. La trascendencia hist\u00f3rica del Concilio se debe a la definici\u00f3n de la doctrina de la Iglesia cat\u00f3lica en torno a la Sagrada Escritura, la Tradici\u00f3n, los Sacramentos y el celibato, la confirmaci\u00f3n de la autoridad papal, etc. En definitva, el concilio determin\u00f3 las normas dogm\u00e1ticas, lit\u00fargicas y \u00e9ticas de la Iglesia cat\u00f3lica.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
