El Palacio Pitti debe su nombre al banquero florentino Luca Pitti y su construcci\u00f3n se remonta al siglo XV. Posteriormente pasar\u00eda a ser la residencia oficial de Cosme I de M\u00e9dici y Leonor de Toledo, quienes enriquecieron el edificio con sus colecciones. El cat\u00e1logo en l\u00ednea arroja m\u00e1s de 15000 resultados, pues actualmente es el conjunto muse\u00edstico m\u00e1s grande de Florencia. Las obras que alberga est\u00e1n divididas en varias estancias, siendo la m\u00e1s relevante la Galer\u00eda Palatina con piezas de Botticelli, Rafael, Andrea del Sarto, Tiziano, Correggio, Pietro da Cortona y Artemisia Gentileschi.
