Entre las obras m\u00e1s conocidas se encuentran el Tr\u00edptico de M\u00f3dena de El Greco, el Retrato de Francisco I de Este realizado por Vel\u00e1zquez y el Arpa Estense. Sobresale tambi\u00e9n por su amplia colecci\u00f3n de instrumentos musicales, monedas, medallas, manuscritos y mapas.
