Colecci\u00f3n online."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El British Museum abri\u00f3 sus puertas al p\u00fablico en 1759, siendo el punto de partida de su colecci\u00f3n las rarezas, manuscritos, monedas y medallas que pose\u00eda Sir Hans Sloane (1660-1753), presidente de la Royal Society. Destaca sobremanera por sus colecciones de Arte Egipcio y Arte Precolombino. La b\u00fasqueda de piezas y obras puede realizarse a trav\u00e9s de su buscador introduciendo palabras clave, aunque tambi\u00e9n es posible explorar las colecciones mediante temas.
