Louis Meunier’s view shows a view of the Puerta del Sol from the eastern side presided over by a large fountain in the centre, composed of various devices for pouring water and crowned with the sculpture of the Mariblanca. This space was the site of one of the most famous minstrels’ dens in the town since the Golden Age.
