Letter from Juan Sebastián de Elcano to Charles I written in 1522 in which he gives news of his arrival with the Nao Victoria at Sanlúcar de Barrameda as part of the Magellan-Elcano expedition to circumnavigate the globe. In the letter, in addition to providing information, he asks the monarch for various grants. It includes the reply from the Secretary Francisco de los Cobos.
