Dominique-Vivant Denon (1747-1825) was a draughtsman and art collector who is considered a precursor of museology and Egyptology. He was also the first director of the Louvre. The centre that bears his name offers resources on the history of the Louvre, its collections and art history in general. The documents are classified into monographs, sound documents and audiovisual documents.
