This database was created in 1975, but has been accessible since 1995. It is managed by the French Ministry of Culture and offers a catalogue of French museum collections, with more than 600,000 records on archaeology, fine arts, ethnology, history, science and technology. Its name comes from Leonardo da Vinci’s La Gioconda, La Joconde in French.
