]]> The Bilbao Fine Arts Museum and the Museum of Modern Art joined forces in 1945, the year in which the old building was erected. In the 1970s, an annex was added, which later, in 2001, was completed with the latest modifications to the building that we can visit today. Through the virtual visit we can approach the masterpieces of authors such as the 16th century German painter and designer of engravings Lucas Cranach the Elder, the Italian baroque painter Artemisia Lomi Gentileschi, El Greco, Murillo, Zurbarán and Goya, among many others.
