The Toledo Museum of Art in Ohio was established in 1901. Its permanent collection is considered one of the best in the United States, and can be consulted online through different sections: painting, sculpture, Japanese miniature sculpture (netsuke), decorative arts, glass and works on paper. In its more than thirty-five galleries you can admire works by El Greco, Hans Holbein, Rubens, Rembrandt, Turner, Degas, Van Gogh, Cézanne, Matisse and Picasso. The selected works are accompanied by a high-resolution image and technical data sheet, which includes comments and a bibliography.

The Getty Museum’s paintings section has as one of its main focuses the Italian Renaissance and 17th-century Dutch and Flemish painting. However, it also includes significant examples of 18th and 19th century painting and of the Spanish and German schools. Works by Dieric Bouts, Pontormo, Orazio Gentileschi, Rubens, Turner and Cézanne stand out. It is possible to search for works by keywords and to consult the most recent acquisitions in the collection, as well as entries (videos, publications, school activities) related to the collection.

Located in the Palacio de Villahermosa (Madrid), the museum was inaugurated in 1992 thanks to the private collection of the Thyssen-Bornemisza family. Its rooms house works by Duccio, Jan van Eyck, Ghirlandaio, Dürer, Holbein, Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Frans Hals, Manet, Monet, Degas and Van Gogh, to name but a few. The collection can be explored online using the advanced search engine or through four sections: artists, masterpieces, permanent collection and Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection.
