]]> Prosecutorial allegation of the process of faith of the Court of the Inquisition of Murcia against Alejandro Malaespina, Italian sailor with service in the Hispanic Monarchy, for propositions. Head of the Malaespina Expedition, Alejandro was an outstanding sailor who commanded some of the most outstanding scientific expeditions of the 18th century. On his return in 1794 and after conspiring to overthrow Godoy, his figure gradually disappeared from the political scene, leaving only his scientific achievements as a legacy.

]]> Document containing the founding statutes of the Real Sociedad Bascongada de los Amigos del país, the first Economic Society founded in the Hispanic Monarchy in 1765. Under the impetus of Xavier María de Munibe, Count of Peñaflorida, the Bascongada was created with the aim of promoting development, science and culture. The headquarters of the institution were established in the Insausti Palace in Azkoitia, and the list of members included important personalities of the society such as Valentín de Foronda, Pablo de Olavide and Félix María Samaniego.

]]> Juan José de Elhuyar, a Spanish scientist born in Logroño, was, together with his brother Fausto de Elhuyar, the first to isolate tungsten. They were both granted a scholarship by the Spanish monarchy to study at different European universities. In 1784, he was sent to Santa Fe de Bogotá to work in the mines of Mariquita. This document contains a dossier of information and a passenger licence to the Indies from Juan José de Elhúyar, commissioner for the promotion of the mines of the New Kingdom of Granada, to Cartagena de Indias, with the following people: Angel Díaz, commissioner; Francisco Llamas, servant, born in Socuéllamos, son of Pablo and Isabel Poveda; Antonio Pastrana, servant, born in Buenos Aires, son of Julián and Agustina Jibaja.

]]> In 1788, Manuel González Guiral, President of the Casa de Contratación, the institution in charge of organising commercial expeditions to America, approved the sending of different people to the mines of New Spain and the Kingdom of Santa Fe. Among them was Fausto Elhuyar, brother of Juan José Elhuyar and Director of Mines in Mexico, who travelled with his wife and a servant. Several well-known German mineralogists travelled with him, such as Alcance y contenido:Destined for New Spain- Fausto de Elhuyar, Director of the Royal body of mines of Mexico, with his wife, Juana de Raab, and their servants: Magdalena Kummer, Rosalía, free Black and Johann Knisrch.- Frederick Sonnenschmidt, Franz Fischer, Ludwig Lindner and Carlos Weinhold.

]]> The fourth installment in the Civilization series. The aim of the game is to lead a civilisation from 4,000 BC, in an attempt to grow it to world domination. Among the new features compared to previous instalments is the introduction of the concept of great characters from history (artists, merchants, prophets, engineers and scientists), who offer extra benefits. It also incorporates for the first time in the series the possibility of founding and expanding religions and adopting an official religion. It also replaces the choice of forms of government with the adoption of political principles. The UN takes centre stage and artificial intelligence is far superior to previous versions.
