The historical reconstruction is good, but the continuous jumps in time in the script make it difficult for viewers who do not know the history of the conquest to understand the events. Óscar Jaenada’s performance triggered very conflicting opinions. At the beginning of 2021, only one season has been broadcast, consisting of 8 episodes. There will be a second one, which is pending broadcast.

It pays special attention to historical rigour and the performances of Elena Rivera and Eduardo Noriega have been very well received by critics.
