In the centre is a couple dancing to the sound of bagpipes, holding in their hands a figure standing on a barrel. On the left, two other couples are sitting on a wooden bench, embracing each other. On the right and in the foreground, there are various objects lying on the ground, as well as a barrel, a cloth and a broken pitcher. In the background is a figure drawing water from a fountain while two other standing figures point to the pair of dancers.
