The Toledo Museum of Art in Ohio was established in 1901. Its permanent collection is considered one of the best in the United States, and can be consulted online through different sections: painting, sculpture, Japanese miniature sculpture (netsuke), decorative arts, glass and works on paper. In its more than thirty-five galleries you can admire works by El Greco, Hans Holbein, Rubens, Rembrandt, Turner, Degas, Van Gogh, Cézanne, Matisse and Picasso. The selected works are accompanied by a high-resolution image and technical data sheet, which includes comments and a bibliography.

The Getty Museum’s collection of drawings and pastels began in 1981 with the acquisition of a drawing by Rembrandt. It now spans the 15th-19th centuries and includes Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Albrecht Dürer, Michelangelo, Goya, Degas and Van Gogh. Keyword searches are permitted.

Located in the Palacio de Villahermosa (Madrid), the museum was inaugurated in 1992 thanks to the private collection of the Thyssen-Bornemisza family. Its rooms house works by Duccio, Jan van Eyck, Ghirlandaio, Dürer, Holbein, Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Frans Hals, Manet, Monet, Degas and Van Gogh, to name but a few. The collection can be explored online using the advanced search engine or through four sections: artists, masterpieces, permanent collection and Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection.
