]]> The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando conserves an exceptional heritage consisting of more than 1,500 paintings, 1,500 sculptures, 15,300 drawings, 35,000 prints, 2,000 photographs, as well as furniture, silver and goldsmith objects, porcelain, ceramics and other decorative arts. The Royal Academy of Fine Arts aims to “promote artistic creativity, as well as the study, dissemination and protection of the arts and cultural heritage, particularly painting, sculpture, architecture, music and the new image arts”.

]]> The Graphic Arts Cabinet of the Bordeaux Museum of Fine Arts holds more than 5,000 drawings and engravings, although only a small sample is digitised. The collection ranges from the 16th to the 20th century, and consists mostly of works by French artists, one of them being the cartoonist and caricaturist Yvan Francis Le Louarn, better known as Chaval.
