]]> The Golden Age Digital Library (BIDISO) was born in 1992 from the Interdisciplinary Seminar for the Study of Spanish Golden Age Literature (SIELAE), of the University of A Coruña (SPAIN), as well as from several research projects subsidised by the Xunta de Galicia, the Spanish Government (National R+D Plan, National R+D+I Plan) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Its repository provides access to first-hand literary and historical sources, dealing with the history of books, libraries and the History of Art in the 16th and 17th centuries. This library is a platform for easy consultation for all those interested, especially researchers in the fields of Literature and Modern History. As indicated on the website, users have access to digitised editions containing inventories of private or institutional libraries from the Golden Age, Emblemática, Relaciones de sucesos, Enciclopedias and Repertorios de lugares comunes, among others.

]]> Miguel Pérez Campos, a former Jesuit, received royal permission to print and publish his work as long as they were not dedicated in honour of Floridablanca so that “the merit of them would be given to him in what was just”. The works are “Gramatica nuova ad uso de’ fanciulli che attendono allo studio della lingua latina in tre libri divisa e ordinata nell’ idioma italiano dall’ abate D. Michele Perez secondo l’antico, e comune Sistema del famoso potoghese P. Emanuele Alvarez” and “Michaëlis Perézii Lobetani de arte Rhetorica libri VI: ex Aristotele, Cicerone, et Quinctiliano praecipuè deprompti, ac tyronum puerorum usui maximé accomodati”. The reply, in the form of a missive, was dated 21 March 1789.
