]]> The Albertina is a museum in Vienna, Switzerland, founded by the German Prince Albert of Saxony-Teschen (1738-1822), to whom it owes its name. The museum houses one of the world’s largest graphic collections, with over 60,000 drawings and almost one million prints, making it an ideal resource for those wishing to delve deeper into these areas. The online collection is divided into painting and sculpture; drawings and prints; photography; architecture; posters; objects, installations and art media. Many of the works are accompanied by explanations that can be read or even listened to. Among all the artists represented, Albrecht Dürer stands out.
