]]> Historical miniseries, consisting of 3 episodes starring Kit Harington (Game of Thrones). It tells the story of the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, a failed plot organised by a group of English Catholics to kill King James I, his family and most of the Protestant aristocracy. The series does not skimp on violence, which has been criticised, as it is broadcast in Britain at a time very close to the children’s time slot.
