The cartouche contains the dedication and the name of the publisher of the map. In the lower right-hand corner is a cartouche with a cornucopia with plant and animal motifs, indicating the title, publishing author, place and date of publication. In the lower left-hand corner is a border containing graphic scales in Italian miles, French, Spanish and German common leagues and one-hour leagues. The profiles of the mountain systems, the most important rivers and the cities as groupings of buildings are depicted. The toponymy is written in Latin and Spanish, although the title and cartouche are in German.
