]]> Three-piece costume ensemble consisting of an outer coat, a half-jacket and breeches made of blue damask with a moiré effect. The jacket is made of silver tissue with coloured silks, together with a decoration of floral motifs, and fastens with buttons covered with a metal sheet. The pleats on the side are typical of mid-18th-century men’s costume. Moreover, the coat is always open, revealing the inner coat with the shortest skirts. It may have been buttoned up to the waist until 1750 in order to show off the inner lace of the shirt.
