										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The presence of students from all over Europe in Bologna has always represented a cultural and economic resource for the city, worthy of specific political and legal choices. Evidence of this can be found in a plaque commemorating the exemption from duties on books and provisions, decided in 1417, for the Studio&#8217;s Italian and transalpine students.
