Founded in 1911, UPORTO is one of the largest higher education and research institutions in Portugal with 31.897 students (20% international, including mobility), 2.698 academics & researchers and 1.643 administrative staff. The five researchers involved in the project belong to CITCEM – Transdisciplinary Research Centre «Culture, Space and Memory» and have a large experience in coordinating and participating in national and international projects related to History Didactics, History of Education, the use of NICT and Digital Technologies in Secondary Schools and Higher Education. Over the last ten years, the team has supervised more than one hundred master thesis and over ten PhD thesis in History and History Didactics.
